"The Future of Constructivist Psychology:
Changing Worlds, Inspiring New Practices"

Submission Requirements

NOTE: Proposal submissions are no longer accepted. The information on this page is provided for reference only.

We request that submissions be made online, using the online form linked below. Please advise us of any problems with the form at napcn@interchange.ubc.ca.

Proposals will be accepted in English only.

Acknowledgement of receipt of your submission will be sent via email to the first author. Following review of proposals, the Program Committee will notify individuals submitting proposals of its decision by April 15, 2002.

Proposals must include the following information:

1. First author: Full name, title, affiliation, postal and email addresses, phone and fax numbers.

2. Co-author(s): Full name, title, affiliation, postal and email addresses, phone and fax numbers of each co-author.

3. Preferred formats for your presentation: Select at least two, in order of preference ("1" = most preferred):

• Symposium: 2-3 moderated presentations + discussion, 75 min. total.
• Paper presentation: 2-3 papers will be grouped in a 75-minute session (including discussion).
• Workshop: 75 min.
• Poster presentation: 60 min.

4. Title of the proposal (maximum 10 words)

5. Abstract (maximum 100 words) to be included in the program (printed and online).

6. Summary (maximum 500 words) for review purposes. For a symposium, provide a 500-word summary of each individual paper in addition to a 250 to 500-word summary justifying their joint presentation. For a workshop, provide a 500 word summary as well as a summary of your relevant background. All proposals will be peer reviewed.

Make sure your proposal is complete. Incomplete proposals will not be considered.

Note: Standard overhead projectors will be available on site. Any other equipment is the responsibility of the presenter.

Student Paper Award: The executive of the NAPCN will be adjudicating the student papers submitted to the conference. A $200 (Canadian dollars) award will be presented for the "best student paper." The winner will be announced at the conference banquet.
