Purpose:
To review recent advances, present new data, and stimulate
discussion of basic and clinical science specifically as it
relates to Anesthesiology.
Upon
completion of this program, participant should be able to
have a greater understanding of the latest scientific and
clinical developments in anesthesiology.
1) Discuss concepts
of clinical management to improve care & avoid morbidities.
2) Relate basic science advances to evolving therapeutic interventions.
3) Describe advances in obstetric, pediatric, neurosurgical,
cardiovascular, & critical care anesthesiology.
4) Discuss critical new developments in regional anesthesiology
& pain management.
