From the Airport to the Hotel

Begin at Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) on Departures and go Southeast for 0.5 miles. Continue on Airport Exit and go Northeast for 300 feet. Bear left on Departures and go North for 400 feet. Continue on ramp at sign reading "I-190 E" and go Northeast for 0.4 miles. Bear right on I-190 and go East for 2.7 miles. Continue on Kennedy Expy E,I-90 and go Southeast for 12 miles. Exit Kennedy Expy E,I-90 via ramp to W Ohio St and go East for 1.1 miles. Continue on W Ohio St and go East for 0.5 miles. Continue on E Ohio St and go East for 0.2 miles. Turn right on N Michigan Ave and go South for 200 feet to Chicago Marriott Downtown.

Begin at Chicago Midway Airport (MDW) on W Airport Dr and go South for 0.4 miles. Turn left on S Cicero Ave,IL-50 and go North for 2.3 miles. Turn right on ramp at sign reading "I-55 N" and go Northeast for 0.3 miles. Bear right on I-55,Stevenson Expy N and go East for 4.5 miles. Exit I-55,Stevenson Expy N via ramp at sign reading "Exit 292A I-90 W / I-94 W Ryan Expy to Wisconsin" and go Northeast for 1.6 miles. Continue on I-90,I-94 and go North for 2.5 miles. Exit I-90,I-94 via ramp at sign reading "Exit 50B East Ohio St" and go East for 0.8 miles. Continue on W Ohio St and go East for 0.5 miles. Continue on E Ohio St and go East for 0.2 miles. Turn right on N Michigan Ave and go South for 200 feet to Chicago Marriott Downtown.

Rooms

Keeping in mind the needs of a business traveler, all 1192 guest rooms and 25 suites at Chicago Marriott Downtown are fully equipped with thoughtful amenities and services, including work desks with lamps, voice mail, data ports, cable/satellite TV, in-room movies, complimentary in-room coffee and newspaper delivered. An iron, ironing board, hairdryer and in-room safe are a matter of course, as is individual climate control. Nonsmoking and ADA-accessible rooms are available upon request.

A block of rooms has been reserved for MARC 2003 participants. Conference rate is $179 single/double occupancy (one king size bed or two double beds), plus taxes (currently 14.9%). This rate is available until February 8, 2003. Reservations should be made by calling the hotel directly. Be sure to identify yourself as a MARC 2003 participant in order to receive the conference rate. After February 8, 2003, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.
