
The main site of the Symposium is the east side of the University
of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) campus. This is adjacent
to downtown and has convenient access by public transportation
to other
areas of interest in the city.
The Symposium will open with a Welcome Reception at the UIC
Chicago Circle Center. The opening ceremony and Hottel
Lecture will be held at the UIC Pavilion. Technical sessions
will be held on campus. The Wednesday afternoon picnic,
culminating with evening fireworks, will be held at Navy
Pier on Lake Michigan. The Banquet will be held on Thursday
at the Fairmont Hotel. The Farewell Reception will be held
in the Lecture Center Plaza.
